Our Counsellor offers a safe space for clients to explore difficulties they are facing in their daily lives. A space to feel heard and be seen without judgement. Working with clients to help them gain insight and different perspectives. Helping people move towards what’s meaningful.
Leah offers Counselling sessions as a Registered Professional Counsellor, using individualized integrative therapy approach combining techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Humanistic Therapy.
As a Trained Life Coach Leah also offers Coaching sessions. A life Coach helps people progress in their lives in order to attain greater fulfillment within their relationships, careers, or day-to-day life.
When asked the difference between Counselling and life Coaching, Leah would explain it like this:
“Coaching starts with where you are today and where you would like see yourself going whereas Counselling is about where you’ve been, how you’ve developed certain patterns, and how those patterns are affecting you currently in your life”
