Lindsey was born and raised in Victoria, BC before moving to the Okanagan. Growing up she spent most of her evenings and weekends at the dance studio, and with any other spare time she was at the driving range hitting golf balls or on the course.
Having a passion for children and helping others from a young age, Lindsey thought she would enter the elementary education program at the Okanagan University College. As time passed, Lindsey realized that teaching was not her immediate interest and turned to alternative care to fulfill her passion for helping others. Friends and family always suggested that she look into massage therapy as she had “strong hands”. After deciding to look into massage, she found out that it was becoming a degree program, which was very important to her and that is where it all started.
Lindsey graduated in 2007 from the three-year program at OVCMT (Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy) in Vernon, BC. She has also completed the training to be a Dr. Vodder certified therapist in CDT (combined decongestive therapy) and MLD (manual lymph drainage). She is also planning to finish her fourth year and complete her degree by 2011. Lindsey thoroughly enjoys the diversity of clientele and the intellectual challenges the profession brings.
