First Visit Walkthrough
As a new patient, our goal is to make is to make you feel relaxed, comfortable and most important, confident you have chosen the right people to trust your care too!
Each of our services has an intake form to complete, which is done electronically. Intake forms will come to you as link via email once your book your first appointment. Filled out at your leisure on your computer or tablet/phone, once complete it uploads into your patient profile, nothing to print, and no need for extra time at your fist visit! For your first appointment at our clinic we do ask that you arrive about 10 mins before your scheduled time so the reception staff can get ensure we have all your information correct, and gather any insurance information.
If you have extended medical coverage, it is important that you understand your plan coverage details are so we can enter that into our system for you, Insurance companies do not give providers that information. You understanding your coverage prevents any surprised come check-out. Perhaps you have a deductible, or the visit is only covered at a percentage of the visit fee, good things to know! Some Plans may require a Doctor referral for Massage therapy.
We will ask you for your BC Care card, and ensure you have entered the required information on the intake form you completed prior to coming in. At your fist visit, your practitioner will consult with you and go over the reasons for your visit, and do any necessary exams to determine the best treatment for you. After you have had a chance to ask any questions or go over any concerns, they will proceed with treatment.
You have a voice to discuss any concerns and have any questions answered before moving forward. You will be given a suggested treatment plan after your appointment, and the reception staff can take care of finding times for future appointment that fit your schedule, or explain how our online booking works. Conveniently located downtown on Ellis, parking at our clinic is generally in the parkade directly across from our Clinic, the metered spots right in front of our office on Ellis or the museum parking lot across the street, if all else fails…metered parking on St. Paul which is the Street just behind us (if you park here, use the door at the back of the building)
The Core Centre of Health sign is right on the front glass of our building and fairly visible when driving by, we are right next to Dawett (Indian restaurant), on the block between Bernard and Doyle. We value your time, and do our very best to stay on schedule with appointments. We hope that you are able to attend your reserved time, and if you are unable we do ask that you provide us with a min of 24hours notice to change or cancel any booked appointments
