Falko holds a Master’s Degree in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine including extensive training in acupuncture, herbal medicine, qi gong, food therapy, and other healing modalities. He was first introduced to Chinese Medicine through his training in Kung Fu and Tai Chi, having studied Fu Jow Pai (tiger style) martial arts and going on to run a martial arts school for nearly a decade. He has since shifted his focus to clinical and healing work, having graduating from the Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine in 2012 and moving to Kelowna in 2014. Falko is also a certified acupuncture detox specialist with the National Acupuncture Detox Association for the treatment of substance abuse and mental health disorders.
He has experience with a wide variety of health conditions such as pain management, sports medicine, chronic fatigue, insomnia, women’s health, digestive health, cardiovascular disease, auto-immune, and neurological conditions among others. He also works with mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, addiction, or general stress relief. Falko’s goal is to integrate mind, body, and spirit through lifestyle guidance, restorative exercise, and treatment. Drawing from his own experience recovering from a neurological illness, Falko believes we can become our own healers when these aspects of our lives are guided appropriately into balance.
When not in the clinic, he can be found with his wife and five children gardening, hiking, serving his Church community, or doing kung fu in the park.
