Kayla graduated from Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy with honours and received the leadership award.
Kayla’s passion for massage therapy was ignited while receiving treatment for her own aches, pains, and injuries she experienced as a Registered Dental Hygienist. Through the course of her massage therapy treatments, she gained knowledge and interest for musculoskeletal anatomy, chronic pain treatments, and the rehabilitation process. She connected with the approach that massage therapy provided as well as the relief she encountered after her treatments which greatly improved her quality of life.
Kayla is dedicated to the health and wellness of her clients and utilizes a variety of treatment modalities including myofascial and soft tissue tension release, trigger point therapy, neuromuscular therapy, muscle stripping, facilitated stretching and Swedish massage.
Outside the treatment room Kayla enjoys hiking, reading, yoga, cooking, and spending time with her Sheltie Stevie.
